Felicity Olejniczak

Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week 3/13/21

Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Felicity Olejniczak, a member of the Girls Basketball team at Knox Community High School.

As a four year starer for Coach Neill Minix, Felicity found herself in the record books in her Senior season, setting a new team record for career steals with 470, while averaging five steals per game as a Senior. She also became only the sixth Lady Redskin to ever score over 1,000 career points, making her the second 1,000 point scorer for the class of 2021 at Knox, joining teammate Remi Jordan who surpassed the mark earlier in the season!

Olejniczak averaged thirteen points and two assists per game this season, helping lead her team to it’s fourth straight twenty win season. During that timespan she was also a part of three sectional championships as well as four Holiday Tournament Championships, while the team won 84% of their games. Felicity is the daughter of Jasmine and Rob Olejniczak.

Congratulations to Felicity Olejniczak of Knox Community High School, our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week!

Felicity will receive a certificate suitable for framing, a history of the award, and a t-shirt commemorating his achievement. In addition, he will be a future guest on the Saturday Sportsline. He will also be eligible for our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Year award next Spring which carries with it a beautiful plaque and a college scholarship, compliments of WKVI and the family of Tyler Roth.
