Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week 4/24/2021

Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Addie Harper, a member of the Girls Tennis Team at North Judson-San Pierre High School.

Addie helped her team to four big wins as she disposed of 3 of her 4 opponents in 2 sets each.  

Playing at Number 2 singles, she beat her opponent from Boone Grove 6-2, 6-2, eliminated her Rochester foe 6-2, 6-4, then won against Kankakee Valley 6-2, 6-3, before ending her run with a win over Laville 5-7, 6-2, 6-1. 

Addie is a 4-year letterwinner in Tennis and has been a 4-year member of the basketball and cross country teams as well.  The veteran Senior is a student leader as well, serving as Student Council President, as a member of the Science Bowl Team and the National Honor Society.  She is also a 10-year member of 4-H. 

Addie is the daughter of Katrina and Alver Harper. 

Congratulations to Addie Harper of North Judson-San Pierre High School our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week. 

Addie will receive a certificate suitable for framing, a history of the Award, and a T-shirt commemorating her achievement and she’ll also be a future guest on the Saturday Sportsline. 

Addie will also be eligible for our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Year Award later this Spring which carries with it a beautiful plaque and a college scholarship, compliments of WKVI and the Family of Tyler Roth.
