MAX’S Top Area HS Football Performers Week #7

Plymouth and Culver Academy just keep on rolling as we enter the final two weeks of Indiana high school football’s regular season.

The Rockies have won four Northern Lake Conference games in a row to improved their overall record to 5-2, while the Eagles are winners of three straight and now sit at 6-1 on the season.

Can both teams keep it going? To keep their winning streaks alive Plymouth and Culver Academy will have to do it against ranked teams and on the road Friday night.

Triton won last week to move its record to 5-2. The Trojans are the only other team in our area with a winning record.

LaVille and Bremen are both 3-4.

Culver Community and Glenn, on the other hand, just can’t stop their losing streaks.

After winning their season opener, the Cavaliers  have dropped six straight to fall to 1-6. Like Culver, Glenn won its opener, but has lost five in a row to fall to 1-5.

Our MAX Game of the Week on Friday takes as back to Bremen as the Lions will host Knox, who is 5-2 on the season after winning four straight. MAX’s coverage begins at 6:30 p.m.

We will also have Plymouth’s big game at No. 5 Mishawaka on MAX983.net. Coverage for that game will begin at 6:30 p.m.

As always the Plymouth game will be replayed on MAX 98.3 FM Saturday starting at 9 a.m.

Other Week #8 action includes 4-3 Jimtown at 3-4 LaVille, 1-5 Glenn at 5-2 Tippecanoe Valley, 6-1 Pioneer at 5-2 and ninth-ranked Triton, 5-2 North Miami at 1-6 Culver Community, and 6-1Culver Academy at 6-1 and sixth-ranked Heritage Christian.

First things first though, lets put the brakes on Week #8 by reflecting on last week.

Here is a look at Kankakee Valley Broadcasting’s MAX 98.3 FM WYMR’s Top Football Performers in Week #7 for Bremen, Culver Academy and Culver Community, John Glenn, LaVille, Plymouth and Triton high schools.
