Ancilla golfers solid in Michigan run
TWIN LAKE, MI — With rainouts and rescheduled events being the theme this Spring, the Marian University Ancilla Men’s Golf team is in the middle of a stretch of 7 tournaments across 16 days. In Monday’s action, the Chargers headed to Twin Lake, Michigan, to participate in the Muskegon Invitational, hosted by Stonegate Golf Club. The MUAC men finished in 4th Place out of 11 teams on hand, just 4 strokes behind 3rd Place Delta Community College and 12 strokes behind 1st Place Montcalm Community College. Freshman Hunter Zdyb led Marian Ancilla with a low round of 79.
The Chargers will return to action today in their rapid-fire month, as they head to Centreville, Michigan, and the Island Hills Golf Club to take part in the Glen Oaks Invitational.
