Glenn takes home opener

WALKERTON — The John Glenn Falcons softball team took a win in their home opener 4-3 over South Central.
Makinzie Kline led the Falcon’s hitting with two hits. Both Kiara Meadway and Miah Lichtenbarger blasted their career-first home run.
In the circle, McKenzie Timm earned her second win pitching the complete game with nine strikeouts and giving up five hits.
The Falcons move to 2-0 and travel to Kankakee Valley today to take on the Cougars.
