Lady Pilgrims battle in NLC double dual
MIDDLEBURY — For the second time in three days Plymouth’s girls track team traveled to Northridge. On Saturday the girls won the Carmon Cripe Invitational, Tuesday they took on the preseason 2nd and 3rd ranked conference teams in Concord and Northridge.
Plymouth competed and battled their way to a tie with Northridge and against Concord, a relay result being flipped would make it a double tie.
“Today, we proved that we can compete and win against the top squads in conference,” said Plymouth coach Rick Stiles. “Now, we have to continue working hard, positioning our team to be in the right spots to score points.”
Plymouth travels to Wawasee with Mishawaka for another double dual conference meet next Tuesday. Field events start at 5:30 pm, and running events start at 6 pm.
