Plymouth girls host rival Warsaw
PLYMOUTH — Plymouth’s girls track team took on preseason NLC favorite Warsaw falling by a final of 82.5-49.5.
Plymouth’s 4x800m relay team raced to a season-best time and earned a big win against Warsaw in one of their marquee events.
Jersey Hunter raced to another win in a season-best time. In the mile, Lena Jones ran another PR, Taylor Schadek finished in first place for the third straight meet and Lizbeth Gomez finished on the podium for the third straight 400m run. Vivy Miller took control of the 3200m run during the second lap and didn’t look back as she took her second consecutive 3200m race.
n shot put, Ava Lloyd and Marissa Kmiatek went 1-2 as Lloyd edged out her teammate by 1 inch with a PR throw.
Plymouth is now 4-1 on the year and travels to Northridge this Saturday to compete at the Carmon Cripe relays. Field events start at 9am and running events start at 11:15 am.
