Bremen opens sectional with win

BREMEN — The Bremen Lady Lion Softball team picked up their first win at the Bremen Sectional against LaVille on Monday at Bremen’s Pfeiffer Field by a score of 21-1 in 5 innings.
Bremen collected 10 hits but took advantage of 15 walks, along with six batters being hit by pitches.
Delainey Neher had 4 hits, including two singles and two doubles, collecting four RBIs, and Madi Milleman had a pair of hits.
Bremen faces Knox in the 3rd game of the Bremen Sectional on Pfeiffer Field on Tuesday, at 7:30 pm, following Game 2 between Winamac and Jimtown starting at 5 pm.
