Plymouth softball falls short to Warsaw
PLYMOUTH — Plymouth’s softball team took a tough loss at the hands of NLC foe Warsaw on Saturday, 8-6.
Both teams put up three in the first, but Warsaw was able to grab three more in the next two innings of Plymouth starter Aubrey Ferguson and then hold the Lady Pilgrims at arm’s length for the rest of the game.
MAX 98.3’s Marian University, Ancilla College player of the game, Lilly Runyan had a pair of triples and a single, scoring two Plymouth runs. Gracie Patrick had a pair of hits, and Haylee Busse scored two runs for the Pilgrims.
Plymouth is now 8-9 on the year and 3-5 in the NLC and will travel to Warsaw on Monday.
