Plymouth U14 splits
PLYMOUTH — Plymouth’s U14 baseball team split a pair of games falling to the FSA Pirates 8-3 and taking an 18-3 win over Tippecanoe Valley.
Plymouth managed just two hits against FSA but one was a home run by McCoy Gantz, the other a double by Mason Tillman.
Seven Plymouth pitchers threw one inning, with Frank Chaney recording three strike outs in his stint on the mound.
Plymouth’s bats came alive in game two with Gantz posting a double as part of a two hit game. Darian Scott-Ross and Caleb Edmiston had three RBIs. Nolan Carroll had a pair of hits with a double.
Calvin Lewallen got the win on the mound with three strike outs.
Plymouth is now 12-4-1.
