Plymouth girls outshot by Chesterton
CHESTERTON — After a week of invitational tournaments, Plymouth’s Girls’ golf team hit the road for their first dual meet of the season at Sand Creek Country Club, falling to Chesterton by a 191-218 final
Meridith Borden led Plymouth in firing a 50. Taylor Hauptman had a 52. Katy Longanecker hit a 55, Hanley Feldman had a 61, and Sydney Manuwal a 72.
“Not our best day, but we kept giving effort,” said head coach Josh Troyer. “We need to improve out of the sand and just be able to handle when our game is a little off. This course was tough tonight, and I look forward to seeing how we bounce back tomorrow night.”
Plymouth will be back in action Tuesday night at Michigan City Municipal Golf Course against Michigan City.
