Plymouth girls split with Bremen, Valley

ROCHESTER — Plymouth’s girls took a split in a dual match Monday at Round Barn Golf Course in Rochester.
Team Scores:
Tippecanoe Valley 207, Plymouth 213, Bremen 265.
Plymouth was led by Taylor Hauptmann with a 43. Meredith Borden had a 52, Hanley Feldman a 54, Katy Longanecker a 64, and Sydney Manuwal a 71.
“We had a couple of solid scores today, and a couple just were not able to fully get it going today like they would have liked,” said Plymouth coach Josh Troyer. “Golf can be a challenging game, and I am still proud of how hard they competed and the effort they put in every day. We have a stretch of practices the rest of the week that we will use to get better as we look to start conference play next week.”
Plymouth’s next match is Monday at McCormick Creek in a dual NLC match with NorthWood and Concord. Bremen is in action tonight (Tuesday) against Glenn.
