Bremen gets five goals from Malcom in win over Argos
ARGOS — Argos hosted Bremen in girls soccer action on Tuesday, with Bremen taking a 5-2 win.
Bremen jumped to a 2-0 lead in the first half on a pair of goals by Avary Malcom, part of a five-goal explosion by her on the night.
Argos found themselves in the second half when Hayna Willis fed Ellie Bollenbacher the ball for a curved ball around the goalkeeper, bringing the score to 2-1, but then Malcom scored three more unanswered goals.In the 76th minute, Argos was again able to find an opening. This time, Willis hit Samantha Umbaugh, who was able to run onto the ball and put it in the far post, but that would be it for the scoring on the night.
Both teams are in action on Thursday, with Bremen at LaVille for a conference matchup, with Argos hosting Manchester.
