Glenn boys compete at New Prairie

NEW CARLISLE — The Glenn boys’ tennis team travelled to the New Prairie Invitational on Saturday. The #2 doubles team of Owen Hamel and Bryce Rauen took second place.

Results:

#1 Singles: Justin Leslie came in 6th place, falling to Kankakee Valley 2-10, defeating Mishawaka 6-3, then losing to Michigan City 2-6.

#2 Singles: George Guseilla finished in 4th place with a 10-2 victory against Mishawaka, then fell to Knox 1-10 and Michigan City 1-10.

#3 Singles: Levi Litteral finished in 5th place, losing 8-10 in a tough battle against New Prairie, then defeating Mishawaka 6-0 and Knox 6-2.

#1 Doubles: Drennon Nance and Colin Hamel came in 4th place, beating Hobart 10-2 in the opening round, then fell 1-10 to Michigan City 2-10 and LaLumiere 7-10.

#2 Doubles: Owen Hamel and Bryce Rauen took 2nd place beating Knox 10-9, LaLumiere 10-2, then falling to New Prairie 3-10.
