Plymouth tennis swept by Northridge
PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth Boys Tennis Team hosted its final NLC Conference match of the season at the Mary Beth Hunter Tennis Complex on Monday, falling to the Northridge Raiders by a 5-0 final score.
The Pilgrims were unable to get much going on the courts on Monday, winning just four total games across the five varsity matches, with three of those coming from the 2D team of Benson Prater and Landon Tyler.
“Northridge has a strong team this season, so it was a struggle on the courts tonight,” said Plymouth coach Brad Haeck. “Hoping we can build on a good practice tomorrow in preparation for the first round of the conference tourney starting Wednesday.”
Plymouth Varsity will travel to Northridge on Wednesday for the First Round of the NLC Conference Tourney, starting as early as 4 PM.
