Bremen takes win over Lady Pilgrims
PLYMOUTH — In a game you heard here on MAX 98.3, Bremen struck early and often and took a 55-28 final over Plymouth.
Trailing 23-6 at the break, Plymouth did what they could to chip into the Bremen lead, responding in the second quarter and winning that one 13-8. The Lady Pilgrims struggled connecting on field goals, however, finishing just 21% from the field.
Bremen capitalized on Plymouth’s turnovers, scoring 27 of its 55 points off turnovers.
With the win, Bremen improves to 5-0 on the season. Plymouth is 2-2.
Emma Kincaid led the Lady Lions in scoring with 19 points. Eliana Grubbs had 16, Teagan Feathers had 7, and Emma Lawmaster had 6. Plymouth was led by Lydia Wray with 12 points and five rebounds. Hayden Shipley had 10 boards on the night, and Chloe Horton added nine.
Bremen is in action on Friday, at home against Jimtown. JV will tip at 6:15 for 2 quarters, and Varsity will follow at 7 p.m.
