Bremen girls wrestlers at Peru

PERU — Two out of the three Bremen Lady Lions traveled to Peru. The ladies tied for 19th. They were one of the smallest teams at this tournament.
Makenzie Shumaker went 4-0 on the day with 4 pins. One of those falls was over the 15th-ranked girl in the state. Makenzie was in a new weight class and had great success.
Kayleanna Moser wrestled hard but came up short in both of her matches in a new weight class.
The Lady Lions are back in action on Wednesday at home for Senior Night against Jimtown.
