Bremen takes fourth straight with win over Glenn
BREMEN — The Bremen Lions improved to 4-0 to start the season with a win over rival John Glenn on Saturday night, 58-37.
Bremen got off to a slow start but was able to rally and take a double-digit lead to the half and never looked back. The Lions continued their strong play on the defensive end throughout the game.
Junior Chase Devine became the fifth player in boys basketball history at Bremen to reach the 1000 point club as well, and the first to ever reach the milestone during his junior year. Chase had another strong night, finishing with 34 points in front of a great home crowd.
Juniors Bryce Miller and Riley Tener put their own stamp on the game, playing big on the glass and also contributing several blocked shots each.
The JV was victorious as well and remains undefeated.
Bremen plays at home again on Wednesday night vs Central Noble.
