Bremen stays unbeaten with a win over Valley
BREMEN — The Lions handled their business at home Friday night vs Tippy Valley, winning 61-37. Bremen got out to a hot start on the offensive end and called on its defense all night to close out the Vikings.
Bremen scored 20 first-quarter points, their highest opening period score of the season, and never looked back. Scoring slowed down in the second, but the Lions took a 33-19 lead at the half.
Hartley Mitole broke out in a big way and led all scorers with 23 points, playing an outstanding game start to finish on both ends.
The Lions are now 8-0 and 2-0 in conference play. Bremen goes on the road next Friday night to conference rival Knox.
