North Judson takes Plymouth Tourney Title

PLYMOUTH — In a game heard on MAX 98.3, North Judson’s girls’ basketball team took the title in the Plymouth Holiday Tournament with a final score of 43-34.
Plymouth had a slow start, allowing Judson to jump ahead early. Judson led the whole game; the closest the Pilgrims got in the second half was 6 points.
Plymouth struggled on the offensive end with the full-court North Judson pressure, with 11 turnovers and shooting just 28% from the field and 52% from the free-throw line.
The Blue Jays Cailyn Tunis led all scorers with 18. Shiloh Deboard had 13 with four rebounds and two assists.
Lydia Wray led the Lady Pilgrims with 12 points, with Brooklyn Scruggs adding 7 points and 6 rebounds, Chloe Horton with 8 points, 3 assists, and 7 rebounds, and Paige Frank with 3 points and 3 rebounds.
Plymouth is now 7-7 on the year. North Judson moves to 11-4.
