Pilgrims get in the win column over Career Academy
PLYMOUTH — Plymouth’s Pilgrims took a 57-44 win over South Bend Career Academy on Saturday afternoon.
Dan Nguyen had 30 points to lead Plymouth. Kylen Ellery had 13, and Parker Bagley had 8.
“I’m proud of the way our guys responded after a slow first quarter and really took control of the game in the second,” said Plymouth head coach Greg Miller. “Dan had an outstanding performance leading us with 30 points, and Kylen and Parker both gave us strong contributions that helped keep the momentum on our side. What stood out most was our defensive effort in the second half, holding them to just 17 points. The team stayed composed, played unselfishly, and executed when it mattered most. This was a great team win and a strong example of our resilience.”
Plymouth is now 4-13 and will take on Rochester on Tuesday.
