Lady Pilgrims fall to LaPorte
PLYMOUTH — Plymouth’s softball team took a tough loss at home to LaPorte on Saturday, 7-5.
“The girls continue to play tough and battle adversity,” said Plymouth coach Brian Hamman. “Our pitching on the mound has been great. We need to clean up some easy ones on defense. Offense has been manufacturing runs well all the way through the lineup.”
Plymouth was led by Gracie Patrick with a pair of hits, including an RBI double. Brenna Laffoon had a pair of hits and runs scored.
Plymouth is now 1-2 and will be in action on Tuesday against Triton in the MAX 98.3 game of the week. Pregame will start at 4:30 p.m. with the first pitch scheduled for 5 p.m.
