Loren Vukovits 11/15/14
Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Loren Vukovits, a member of the Girls Basketball team at John Glenn High School.
Loren led her team to a spectacular win in the season opener with a record-setting performance to start her Senior year.
The 6-1 veteran broke the John Glenn School record for points in a game, set back in 1985 with 35 points as part of a double-double. Vukovits also pulled down 14 rebounds as the Lady Falcons buried visiting South Bend Clay 94-39.
Loren is in her 4th year as a varsity performer for Coach Kyle Amor and last week signed to continue her career at Indiana University-South Bend.
Loren is the daughter of Vick and Lisa Vukovits.
