Argos smashes RF
HOBART — Ivy Stackhouse pitched a no-hitter and Argos took advantage of 14 walks to blank River Forest, 19-0, Saturday. Stackhouse struck out nine and walked three in five innings. Offensively, Adelyn Lewark had two hits and two RBIs, while Carlie Rex (three runs) and Ava Stackhouse (four runs) also had a pair of RBIs. Lily McMillen walked three times and scored each time for the Lady Dragons.

Lions defense struggles in loss to Riley
SOUTH BEND — The Bremen Girls softball team outhit the Wildcats 7-6, but the defense committed 4 errors that led to all 5 of the opponent’s runs in a 5-3 loss to South Bend Riley.
Mickie Shively and Chrissy Grabowski had two hits each, Eliana Grubbs had a triple, Delainey Neher and Isabella Calentine each had singles to lead the offense.
Grabowski suffered the loss from the circle while scattering six hits, striking out five, and walked four.

Plymouth falls to Mishawaka
PLYMOUTH — Mishawaka had 17 hits and a seven-run third inning to ride to a 14-2 NLC win over Plymouth on Monday night.
Plymouth got a double from Aubrey Ferguson and an RBI from Kayla Johnson.
The Lady Pilgrims will be back in action on Wednesday against Concord.

MT tops Bremen
BREMEN — After a close game early on, Morgan Township pulled away late to defeat Bremen, 6-2, Saturday. The game was 1-1 heading into the 6th inning when the Lions surrendered five runs after a few defensive miscues and some timely hits by MT. Bremen (3-2) left 10 runners stranded on base during the game. Silas Laidig and Kaden Martin each were 2-for-3 for the Lions.

Caston clubs Triton
FULTON — Triton took a loss in HNAC action at Caston on Monday night 13-3 in five innings.
A seven-run third inning broke the game open for Caston.
Lucas Kaufman had three hits and an RBI for Triton who is now 2-4 on the year.

Bremen beats Riley in NIC contest
BREMEN — The Bremen Lions jumped back into the win column with a 15-5 conference win over South Bend Riley.
The Lions had big 6 run second inning that broke the game open.
Aden Hunziker dominated on the mound by consistently throwing strikes. The Lions put the game away in the 4th when they pushed across 7 more.

Bremen bests NP
NEW CARLISLE — The Lady Lions varsity tennis team secured their first Northern Indiana Conference win, defeating New Prairie, 3-2, by sweeping all three singles spots.
JV match winners included Sonja Schalke and Addison Wright at singles and the doubles team of Bellamy Gratrix/Brinkley Gratrix.

WINAMAC — Bremen’s boys track team won the six-team Winamac Invitational Saturday. The 4×800 relay team of Matt Urbina, Dylan Goff, Luke Kincaid, and Hudson Fox had a record-setting time of 8:16.5 to broke the previous record by more than five seconds and currently places the team as the 8th fastest outdoor time recorded in the state this year.

Plymouth golfers take win over Marian
MISHAWAKA — Plymouth’s golf team took a one strok win over Mishawaka Marian by a 171-170 team final at Eberhart Golf Course.
The JV took a 185-169 win.

“Proud of the guys for gutting out a one stroke victory against a really good Mishawaka Marian tonight,” said Plymouth coach Josh Troyer. “We didn’t have our best stuff collectively but they willed their way to a tight victory. Looking forward to practicing tomorrow to work on getting better before our next match on Thursday.”
Plymouth will be in action Friday against South Bend Adams, CMA, NorthWood, Triton and Bremen at Pretty Lake Golf Course starting at 5 p.m.

Plymouth falls to Mishawaka
MISHAWAKA — Plymouth’s JV baseball team couldn’t muster much offense and fell to Mishwaka on the road 11-4.
Plymouth was able to get just two hits and made six errors in the loss.
Ben Shively and Zach Atkins had the only Plymouth hits. Grady Metsker took the loss on the mound.
