Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Eian Coad, a member of the Men’s Tennis Team at Knox High School.

Eian helped his team win the Hoosier North Athletic Conference Championship at #1 singles and earned All-Conference by beating his opponents from LaVille and Triton each 6-1, 6-0 in the Conference Tourney.

Just a Junior, his wins in the Tournament brought him to within two victories of setting a Knox school record for wins in a career as he pushed his overall season record to 13-3.

Eian, the son of Nancy and Jim Coad, is also a member of the Track and Basketball teams.

Congratulations to Eian Coad of Knox High School, our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week.

Eian will receive a certificate suitable for framing, a history of the Award and a T-shirt commemorating his achievement.

He’ll also be eligible for our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Year Award next Spring, which carries with it a beautiful plaque and a college scholarship, compliments of WKVI and the Family of Tyler Roth.
