Winamac Warriors solid in opening round shutout of West Central

It was a second meeting between two SR 14/421 rivals.  Back on September 26th, Winamac dominated the Trojans in a 53-22 win.   The same thing happened again in the first round of the IHSAA Football Sectionals.   This time the Warriors scored more and put a 64 point spot on the board and shutout West Central’s offense.

It was an impressive 64-0 win simply because it was the fourth time this season Winamac had scored into the 60’s.   As a matter of fact, the Warriors have outscored their opponents 198-0 in the last 3 games!

In the sectional win, Winamac only allowed 64 yards total, all passing and NO rushing.
