Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for 8-22-2020

Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Delaney Martin, a member of the volleyball team at North Judson-San Pierre High School.

Delaney helped lead her team to the Championship of the season opening Winamac Tournamentwith solid performances in four games. She scored 30 points, had 14 ace serves, and combined 20 kills, as the ‘Jays beat New Haven, LaCrosse, and North White to get them to the Championship game, where they defeated North Newton 25-21 and 25-13.

Delaney is the daughter of Andy and Kirsten Martin and will be featured next week on the Saturday Sportsline.

Congratulations to Delaney Martin of North Judson-San Pierre High School, our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week.

Delaney will receive a certificate suitable for framing, a history of the award and a t-shirt commemorating her achievement. She will also be eligible for our “Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Year” award next spring, which carries with it a beautiful plaque and a college scholarship compliments of WKVI and the family of Tyler Roth.
