Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for 11-14-2020

Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Molly Salyers, a member of the Girls Swim Team at Knox Community High School.

Molly helped lead her team to a big win over arch-rival North Judson-San Pierre High School in the opening meet of the season. The Junior took first place in the 200 Freestyle in a time of 2:29.48, as well as the 100 Freestyle with a time of 1:05.76. She was also part of the first place IM Relay, as well as the 200 Freestyle Relay, as the Redskins topped the Bluejays 85-69. Molly is the daughter of Amy and Ron Salyers.

Molly will receive a certificate suitable for framing, a history of the award and a t-shirt commemorating her achievement. She will also be eligible for our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Year Award next Spring, which carries with it a beautiful plaque and a college scholarship, compliments of WKVI and the family of Tyler Roth.
