Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week 1-2-2021
Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the week for this week is Brycen Hannah, a member of the Boys Basketball Team at John Glenn High School.
Brycen helped lead his team to the Championship of the East Noble Holiday Tournament with two outstanding games. In the opening game against Heritage he dominated inside play, scoring 20 points on 9-of-11 shooting from the floor, pulling down 9 rebounds, handing out 2 assists and coming up with a steal as well as the Flacons beat Patriots 72-52.
In the Championship game, the 6-4 Sophomore battled East Noble’s 6-9, 235 pound center throughout the game and still scored 7 points and led both teams in rebounding with 9 while again having 2 assists and a steal as the Falcons beat the hosts 51-46 in Overtime to win the Tournament as the Falcons started the season with a 5-0 record.
Brycen is the son of Kristin and Travis Hannah and is also a member of the Falcon Baseball Team.

Brycen will receive a certificate suitable for framing, a history of the award and a T-Shirt commemorating his achievement and will be our guest on a future “Saturday Sportsline”. He’ll also be eligible for our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Year Award next Spring which carries with it a beautiful plaque and a college scholarship, compliments of WKVI and the Family of Tyler Roth.
