Plymouth swimmers head for Monday’s finals
MIDDLEBURY — Plymouth’s girls’ swim team qualified all three relay teams in the next round along with three individuals finishing in the top eight.
Top eight finishers:
Kieran Gritton — 50 Free, 100 Free
Kathryn Morrison — 100 Fly, 100 Breaststroke
Vivian Wheeler — 100 Free, 100 Breaststroke
200 Medley Relay — (2nd)
200 Free Relay — (5th)
400 Free Relay — (5th)
Plymouth placed seven more swimmers in the top 16 and every swimmer had a personal best time in one of their events.
“It takes guts to show up when it counts,” said Plymouth coach Haley Stegelmann, “Every single swimmer swam a best time. We are so proud. I love seeing our team grow in confidence and power. Tonight they tasted a glimpse of what they are capable of accomplishing.”
