PLYMOUTH — Plymouth hosted a double duel track meet with Triton and Oregon-Davis.

Triton highlights:
“The freshman had a strong showing overall. But Junior Brady Schuh topped his previous record in Discus by over 28 Feet. He brought home 1st place throwing 126’ 9” on the night, his previous PR was 98’ 1”. Senior Kenadee Howard did the same in both Discus and Shot Put. Setting new PR’s in both after taking last year off. She topped her previous record from 2023 in Discus by over 16 feet.”
Plymouth girls highlights:
“We almost had five hurdlers break 18 seconds tonight as we watched Jersey hold off Eva in one of two races of the night between the two teammates. Yuli Contreras led the sprint team with two wins in the 100m dash and the leadoff leg of our 4x100m relay team. Jersey Hunter got two firsts in the 100m hurdles and a key leg of the 4x100m relay. Lena Jones took the 1600m run tonight with a new PR while Taylor Schadek took her second straight 400m win of the young season outpacing teammate Lizbeth Gomez. In the 800m, Lauren Gurtner took first as senior Joy Everett and junior Lola Hissong rounded out the first three places in a strong race for our mid-distance squad.”
Plymouth Boys highlights:
1) Brady Coffin (11) with a huge personal PR in the 100m dash.
2) Carter Bush (12) winning the 200m dash.
3) Hunter Shipley (10) winning the 800m in a personal best of 2:07.
4) Ethan Podlesak (11) broke 5 minutes in the mile for the first time ever running
a 4:58 and winning the race.
5) Freddy Kallenberg (11) and Ethan Podlesak (11) taking 1st, and 2nd in the 2 mile.
6) Senior Captain Cole Figg won the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles. Both are his
fastest times ever.
7) The 4×100 and 4×400 got wins.
8) Kylen Ellery (11) won HJ and took second in LJ.
9) Hudson Davis (10) won the Shot and took 4th in Disc. Both were huge PRs for him.
Plymouth’s girls are in action on April 16, hosting Warsaw with field events starting at 5:30 pm and 4x800m at 6 pm. Plymouth’s boys are in action on April 17 against Northwood and Northridge at NorthWood. Triton’s boys and girls are in action tonight at Culver Academy starting at 5:30 p.m.
