Plymouth girls run at Princess City Relays

MISHAWAKA — Plymouth took a sixth-place finish in a nine-team field at the Princess City Relays.
The shuttle hurdle relay squad of Amyra Benchaar, Alexis Doll, Eva Macey, and Jersey Hunter kicked things off in the fast heat as they broke the school record for the third consecutive year.
In the 3200m race, Vivy Miller and Lena Jones set new personal records. Miller cut about 21 seconds off her season best. The 4x100m squad saw the return of Alana Allen to the foursome. They ran a solid time and finished sixth overall.
Next up, Plymouth will host Goshen and Northwood on Tuesday in the final conference meet for the regular season. Field events start at 5:30 pm, and running events start at 6 p.m.
Plymouth will honor the 14 seniors after the meet.
