Plymouth JV hosts tourney
PLYMOUTH — On Saturday, September 6th, the Plymouth Boys JV Tennis Team hosted a JV Tourney at the Mary Beth Hunter Tennis Courts. The format was three rounds of head-to-head dual matches with South Bend Washington, Eastern, and Bremen.
Matches consisted of three singles and two doubles formats. The host Pilgrims beat South Bend Washington 3-0, and lost to Eastern and Bremen by 5-0 scores.
”It was a great day to play tennis. I continue to see improvement in all players,” said Plymouth coach Craig Hopple. “I witnessed a lot of impressive points, games, and tie breaks throughout the day. The support from the parents was outstanding throughout all the matches today. I am proud of how the players competed today and supported each other throughout the day.”
Next Match: Plymouth JV travels to NorthWood on Tuesday for a 5:00 PM start.
