Triton runners take double senior night win
BOURBON — The Triton Trojans Varsity track and field teams brought home a double win on Senior Night at the last Home Meet of the season.
Tippy Valley and Rochester came to Triton Tuesday night, where not only were the Triton Seniors honored, but also the Tippy Valley Seniors were recognized, as they are without their own home track this season.
Seniors were the highlight on the night, and several gave some of their best performances to date. Travis Barnhart set another PR in the 300 hurdles, Andrew Gould was back to join the second 4×100 relay team, and they set a new PR on the night. Senior girls Rory Heckaman and Kenadee Howard both set new PR’s in the 800m and discus events.
Several other Triton athletes set records for themselves on the night.
