Plymouth girls 12th at Western Invite
KOKOMO — Plymouth’s girls golf team shot a 410 at the Western Invite at Chippendale Golf Course in Kokomo, taking a 12th place in a 15-team field.

Meridith Borden led Plymouth with an 88 followed by Taylor Hauptman with a 96. Katy Longanecker had a 105, Hanley Feldman a 121, and Sydney Manuwal a 137 for Plymouth.
“I’m proud of how the team competed today,” said Plymouth coach Josh Troyer. “We are still not where we want to be, but career lows for Katy, Meredith, and Sydney led the way for us today. I look forward to continuing to grow and compete and seeing where this team ends up when they put it all together. I am truly excited to see what they shoot in the middle of September.”
Plymouth is in action Monday night at the Round Barn Golf Course against Tippecanoe Valley, LaVille, and Bremen.
