#5 Warsaw takes volleyball win over Plymouth
PLYMOUTH — Plymouth’s volleyball team took a 3-1 loss at the hands of #5-ranked NLC foe Warsaw by scores of 25-16, 25-17, 26-24, 26-24.
“I am extremely proud of the fight these girls had,” said Plymouth coach Ashley Koss. “Warsaw is a great program currently sitting at 5th in the state for 4A, and we gave them everything they could handle. The scores of sets 1 and 2, in my opinion, did not reflect the level of play we demonstrated.”
“The fight came in sets 3 and 4 with our girls hustling and putting away balls at key moments,” she said. “We were 2 points away from a 5th set, which in my experience is anyone’s game. Again, just so proud of these kids and confident that we can build off this in the upcoming weeks.”
Plymouth is in action again at home Monday against Michigan City.
