Culver takes OT win over Argos girls

CULVER — The Lady Dragons traveled to take on the Lady Cavaliers on Saturday.
Culver was able to come away with a 2-1 overtime win.
Culver hit the goal late in the first half to give them the lead.
Ellie Bollenbacher poked in a loose ball in the 65th minute to tie things up, 1-1.
Due to conference regulations, the teams played two additional 10-minute periods. Culver was able to slot in around the Dragon defense in the first overtime period to take the 2-1 win.
Argos was able to outshoot Culver 24-11, but it wasn’t enough.
Argos is still on the hunt for its first win with a 0-6-1 record and is preparing for 6 games in 2 weeks. Argos will hit the road Tuesday to travel to Bremen with a kickoff at 5:30 pm.
Culver is unbeaten at 6-0 and will be on the road at Rensselaer Central on Monday at 6 p.m.
