Plymouth girls drop NLC contest at Concord
DUNLAP — Plymouth’s girls soccer team took an NLC loss on the road at Concord by a 5-2 final.
Plymouth got goals from Ella Young and also on a direct kick. Lily Drevecky had 12 saves in goal.
“Give it up to Concord; they protected their home field today,” said Plymouth coach Adam Calhoun. “The injury bug struck out goalie tonight on an aggressive play that yielded a yellow card, yet ended the night for Ella Muffley in goal. Despite being down two season starters, we got another chance to see some of our players compete against a strong Concord squad today. We will grow and build from tonight’s result. We are back at it on Wednesday against another NLC team, Wawasee, on the road.”
Plymouth is now 2-7-3 on the year.
