Rockies outshot by Concord

DUNLAP — Plymouth’s boys soccer team fell in an NLC contest to Concord by a final of 5-3.
Plymouth got a pair of goals from Chris Rosas and a goal from Parker Hansen. Giancarlo Arriaga and Zeke Estrada had assists.
“Great game played by us, the best we’ve played all season,” said Plymouth coach Jesus Jimenez-Garcia. “Unfortunately, Concord had three penalty kicks called in their favor, which killed the game for us. From defense, midfield, and forwards, I’m very proud of the game these boys played tonight. Went toe to toe with a top ten team in the state. We’ll continue to play our best soccer of the year and roll onto the end of the season and into sectionals. Shoutout to Chris Rosas, two goals for a freshman, great work Chris.”
Plymouth is now 5-4-3 on the year.
