Bonner sets MUAC record at Taylor

UPLAND — Last Friday, the Marian University Ancilla Women’s Cross Country duo of Sophomore Ciara Bonner and Freshman Maggie Kieszkowski participated in the Ray Bullock Invitational at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana.
Bonner, who set program records a year ago, once again set a school record with the best time in a women’s 6K race. The Chesterton native ran her race in a time of 27:38.14.
Kieszkowski, a Spring graduate of nearby New Prairie High School, also ran strong, as she finished in a time of 28:52.74.
The ladies will be back in action next Friday, October 24th, when they participate in the MCCAA Championship at St. Clair County Community College.
