Bremen takes opening round win

NAPPANEE — Bremen defeated Bethany Christian in the opening match at the Northwood sectional Tuesday night.
The #1 singles match was won by Chase Devine. Both of Bremen’s doubles teams won. Maddux Hickman and Micah Porter won at the #1 doubles slot, while the team of Henry Varner and Riley Tener won a 3 set thriller to close out the victory.
Bremen will play Fairfield on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the Northwood courts.
