Lady Lions fall in extra innings

The Bremen Lady Lions Softball team took an early 2-0 lead against the Blackhawks from Westville on Monday night, but came up short in 8 innings by a score of 8-4.
After scoring a run in the bottom of the 7th to tie the game at 4, Westville added 4 runs in the top of the 8th and held on for the win.
Eliana Grubbs continued to pick up hits with two and scored two more runs. Bella Calentine, Makenzie Shumaker, and Peyton Reed had 2 hits each. Karla Arias and Aubri O’Keefe each added hits for the Lady Lions.
Eliana scattered 8 hits from the circle, struck out 8, and only walked two in the loss.
