Lions run by ECA on senior night

BREMEN — Elkhart Christian Academy challenged the Bremen Lions track team in every event, but through focus, determination, and great performances, the boys were able to secure an 8-point victory over the Eagles and get two victories for their seniors.
Ben Brady, Jacob Douglass, Remi Elliott, Logan Frederickson, Caleb McClaid, and Brayden Pearish were honored during the Senior Night exchange of the baton ceremony before the meet.
The girls were dominant from start to finish and pushed hard throughout the meet to honor their 5 senior athletes.
Lindsey Byrd, Emma Kincaid, Sienna O’Connor, Becca Rogers, and Sara Sahlhoff were recognized before the meet began in the traditional exchange of the Senior Excellence baton.
The girls took first-place finishes in 12 different events on the night. Despite impending weather conditions, the meet went extremely well, and numerous athletes achieved season-best performances.
