Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week 11-3-18

Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Makenzie Harper, a member of the Volleyball Team at North Judson-San Pierre High School.

Makenzie helped lead her team to the school’s first ever Semi-State Championship with another solid performance as the team’s setter.  After garnering 33 assists in the Sectional Championship 3-1 win over Andrean and 33 more in the 3-0 Regional Championship  victory over South Adams, she was again nearly flawless as the Jays downed Wabash 3-0 to advance to the State Championship match for the first time in school history.

 The 5-5 Senior is a 4-year letterwinner for the Jays and was part of their sectional championship team two years ago and was named to the Academic All-State Team. 

 Makenzie is the daughter of  Jamie and Bob Harper.
