Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week 11-10-18

Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Courtney Trusty, a member of the Volleyball Team at North Judson-San Pierre High School.

Courtney helped lead her team to the school’s first ever State Championship with another solid performance.  The 5-5 Senior ran the defense flawlessly from her libero position, coming up with a dozen digs and adding 3 assists as the Jays defeated Indiana Christian Academy in 3 sets 25-23, 27-25 and 25-21. 

 The 5-5 Senior is a 4-year letterwinner for the Jays and was part of their sectional championship team two years ago and was named to the Academic All-State Team as well as the Indiana Volleyball Coaches Association All-State Teams.

Courtney is the daughter of Dianne and Greg Trusty.
