Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week 10-19-19
Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Ryan Huggler, a member of the Boys Cross Country team at Winamac High School.
Ryan led his team to a second place finish in the tough Logansport Sectional as they advanced as a team to Regional competition. the veteran Senior posted his third best time of the season in the Sectional, covering the course in 17:35, good enough for 6th place. He had his best time in winning the Hoosier North Athletic Conference meet with a time of 16:30 on his home course.
Ryan is the son of Alan and Nancy Huggler, and is also a member of the Warriors’ Track team.

Ryan will receive a certificate suitable for framing, a history of the award, and a t-shirt commemorating his achievement. He will also be a future guest on the Saturday Sportsline. Ryan is now eligible for our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Year Award next Spring, which carries with it a beautiful plaque and a college scholarship, compliments of WKVI and the family of Tyler Roth.
