Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week 1-4-20

Amber Wolf

Our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week for this week is Amber Wolf, a member of the Girls Basketball Team at South Central High School.

Amber passed the 1,000 point career scoring mark in a 71-16 Porter County Conference win over Boone Grove, leading her team with a double-double, pouring in 24 points and hauling down 10 rebounds.

the 6-0 Senior became only the fifth player in Lady Satellite history to achieve that remarkable milestone. She joins an elite group which includes Mallory Gorski and Anna Kammrath from the class of 2006, as well as Jill Rosenbaum and Riley Popplewell of the class of 2016.

An outstanding student, Amber is a member of the National Honor Society and facilitates the “Pantry Points” program which brings in canned goods for the less fortunate at South Central. A 4-year starter for the Satellites, Amber recently has committed to playing college ball at DePauw University.

Amber is the daughter of Doug and Peggy Wolf.

Congratulations to Amber Wolf of South Central High School, our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Week.

Amber will receive a certificate suitable for framing, a history of the Award, a t-shirt commemorating her achievement and a free pizza compliments of Momma’s Pizzeria. She will also be a future guest on the Saturday Sportsline.

Amber will also be eligible for our Tyler Roth/WKVI Athlete of the Year Award next Spring, which carries with it a beautiful plaque, and a college scholarship compliments of WKVI and the family of Tyler Roth.
