Kankakee Valley Broadcasting Brings You High School Football Like No One Else

Can you believe the opening night of high school football is just about three weeks away?

Yes, that’s correct Indiana high school football teams kick their seasons off Friday Aug. 18.

And Kankakee Valley Broadcasting has you covered like no other broadcasting company in the state of Indiana.

This season we will bring you more than 30 high school football games LIVE!

These games will be available on MAX 98.3 FM WYMR, 99.3 FM WKVI and MAX983.NET.

We are thrilled to announce, too, that MAX will broadcast every Plymouth game with long-time Rockies play-by-play announcer Rusty Nixon calling all the exciting action! Joining Rusty in the broadcast booth will be Joe McKee.

MAX 98.3 FM and MAX983.NET will bring you every Plymouth High School game this season. When Plymouth is not our Game of the Week on MAX 98.3 FM, the Rockies’ games will be heard LIVE on MAX983.NET. On those occasions, we will carry select games from Bremen,
Culver Community, Culver Academy, John Glenn, LaVille, and Triton as our Game of the Week on MAX 98.3 FM.

Broadcasting on MAX will be the team of award-winning broadcaster Tony “The Boss” Ross and color
analysts Mark Hayden and Doug Griffiths.

99.3 FM WKVI’s broadcast team will include sports director Mitch Columbe handling the play-by-play duties and Chris McGowen providing analysis.

WKVI will be covering Knox, North Judson-San Pierre, Winamac, South Central and West Central high school football games during the 2023 season.

Simply no one else has the kind of experience and knowledge about sports than our Kankakee Valley Broadcasting teams do. After all we have around 150 years of combined experience covering sports, and know the teams we cover thoroughly.

For nine consecutive weeks we will broadcast regular-season action and then bring you the postseason starting with the opening round of sectionals Oct. 20. As long as one of our local teams is participating, Kankakee Valley Broadcasting will bring you sectional, regional, semi-state and
the state final games October through November.

In addition, MAX 98.3 FM and 99.3 FM WKVI will air its Saturday Morning Coaches Shows beginning Saturday Aug. 19. Plus, Sports Talk on the MAX will air from 12-1 p.m. ET on Fridays.

Don’t forget sportstothemax.net will also have all the high school sports happenings as well as the news from the college and professional ranks.

Kankakee Valley Broadcasting is simply second to none when it comes to football coverage so make sure you listen to our broadcasts and keep up-to-date with all the breaking news on our Sports Talk on the MAX weekly show along with our weekly coaches’ shows and of course on
sportstothemax.net.

The wait is about over … football season kicks off in just 25 days! Thankfully the wait is about over.

Join us on Kankakee Valley Broadcasting to catch all the action of your favorite team!
