O-D tops Cavs
HAMLET – Four players hit for double figures in scoring as Oregon-Davis defeated Culver, 66-49, Wednesday night. Leading the way for the Bobcats were Carson Matthew with 17 points, followed by Ethan Huitt (16), Connor Frazier (11) and Connor Matthew with 10. Jack Rodgers was the Cavaliers’ leading scorer with 14 and David Hite added nine.

Lady Pilgrims take loss at Northridge
MIDDLEBURY — Plymouth’s Lady Pilgrims closed out the NLC portion of their season with a 59-29 loss to Northridge.
Plymouth was led by Lena Jones with 11 points. Alana Allen had 10 with eight rebounds.
Plymouth will close out the season on the road at Argos with a 12:30 p.m. tipoff.

Bremen gets Sr. Night win
BREMEN – The Bremen HS girls basketball team scored 42 first-half points on the way to a 66-51 Northern Indiana Conference win over South Bend Adams on Senior Night Wednesday. With the win, Bremen moves to 10-11 overall and 5-6 in its final season in the NIC. Eliana Grubbs led the Lady Lions in scoring with 22 points. Kila Foster added 19 and Mickie Shively 15 (four 3s).

Lions get big season ending win over Caston
BREMEN — The Bremen girls basketball team ended the regular season with a big home win over Caston 38-33.
Bremen came out of the gates with strong defense and jumped out to a double digit first quarter lead, then played strong team basketball down the stretch to hold off 1A #4 Caston.
With the win, Bremen concludes the regular season with an 11-11 record.
Kila Foster led the Lady Lions in scoring with 18 points.
Other scorers were: Eliana Grubbs-9, Emma Kincaid-8.
Next up will be 3A sectional 18. Bremen will play on Tuesday, at Rochester against John Glenn. Tip-off will be at 6 p.m.

JV Girls Basketball
Plymouth outshot by Northridge
MIDDLEBURY — Pymouth’s Lady Pilgrims took an NLC loss on the road at Northridge by a final of 50-21.
Bailey Edmiston had nine points with three of three from behind the arc. Megan Overmyer had five points.
Plymouth will be in action at Argos on Saturday morning.
