Plymouth boys aced by Goshen

GOSHEN — The Plymouth Boys Tennis Team traveled to Goshen Middle School Thursday night to take on the host RedHawks, falling by a 5-0 final score.
The Pilgrims were unable to get much going on most courts against the District-Ranked RedHawks on Thursday. The Plymouth 2D team of Benson Prater and Landon Tyler won two games, Plymouth 2S player Jonah Rich won three games, and the Plymouth 1D team of Nick Manzuk and Owen Walleske won four games for the evening.
Goshen currently leads the NLC Standings with a 6-0 Conference mark heading into their final Conference dual match of the season with Mishawaka next week.
“There are a lot of strong teams in the NLC this season and Goshen is currently at the top of that list,” said Plymouth coach Brad Haeck. “They are a talented and well-coached team and proved that they will be a tough team to beat in both the upcoming Conference Tourney and Postseason. We once again showed some nice things on the courts tonight, but the lack of consistency hurts when playing the best and most experienced teams.”
Plymouth hosts Northridge on Monday for their final NLC dual match, 5:30 PM start.
